Moving neighbors

My neighbors are moving :-( It makes me sad to see them go... But I'm happy that they got the house sold. On the happy side, hopefully there not moving too far... School starts in 15 days... Surprisingly, I've missed school, and I'm not to fond of the whole social aspect of it, but I love learning (what can I say I'm a nerd :-) haha ... I'm getting better at posting about events. More work tomorrow, which is always fun. :-)ANYWAY TTFN(-:

SUMMERS ALMOST OVER :-(

School starts in 17 days... I will officially be a freshman :-) I'm so excited for high school. I made the select high school choir groups, and was also elected for freshmen class rep (for student council) I know that there will be alot of good times in high school. Also at girls camp we met the new seminary teacher, his name is brother Glathier... and all of us girls came up with a really cool way to remember his name.... Say glacier with a lisp... works every time... Anyway while I'm posting about school I mind as well post about camp. It was a blast, on Thursday night Ms. Utah came up to camp.. She's amazing. She was in the army for 5 1/2 years, after returning home somebody suggested that she do the Ms. Utah pageant, and she decided to try something new... anyway, she was awesome to meet... Thanks to all of our great leaders from camp... and all the effort you put into it :-)

ER visit!

Monday night Kallee, Katelyn, Kyle, Karsen, and my Mom went on a walk, Karsen decided to ride his bike... since the next day was girls camp Kaycee and I stayed home to finish packing.. I was on the phone with my friend when I heard screaming, I wasn't sure who it was so continued on with my conversation, the screams got louder and louder, so I decided that I should go see what was going on, as I came up the stairs I saw Karsen sitting on a chair screaming, his arm was pretty tore up but other than that he was ok... when he fell off of the chair I decided that I should probably call somebody, There is a lady in our ward: Sister Coppola, She works in the ER, and her husband is on the ambulance crew.. she came right over and every place they touced hurt, especially on his neck, so she called her husband who brought over a neck collar. They tried to log roll him to see his shoulder but they couldn't because he was in so much pain. Sister coppola and my mom made a decision to call the ambulance... Meantime while waiting for the ambulance I hear the story of what happened. They have just redone the sidewalks near our house, and where there used to be a dip in the curb they removed it, so he thought he could jump it and flipped. He walked home about three blocks. Anyway so the ambulance crew came, but while we were waiting for them brother coppola and brother ortega gave him a blessing. this all happened at about 10 or 11... we then spent 4 hours in the E.R. Which is a whole nother story in it self... upon arriving there they sat in there room for 2 hours before they were even seen by a doctor... and anybody who has been to the rock springs E.R. knows that they're not in too big of hurry... He was fine after he got calmed down. Sister coppola said that he was in shock therefore resulting in anything they touched hurting him... He's fine now and only has the one big scratch on his arm

Life since June :-)

Well life has been hectic lately.... I've had a rough few weeks but discovered something during one of these tough times... No matter how difficult life can seem or how many sad things happen, there is always something worth smiling about... A friend once told me this... Happiness is a frame of mind, and you have to find the good in it all, no matter how small that part is...

( The picture is just a poster that I found on the church website and thougth I'd share)

LIFE. . .Take it as it comes

I know that I haven't blogged in quite a while. A lot has happened and yet we still have no pictures. School is out and I am so excited yet sad about this event. I am an official freshmen. I received a cell phone in April. It was a Razor. I had this phone until an eventful day. . . may 10 to be exact. Our ward had went on a temple trip. Following this event we went out to breakfast. We left town at 4:30. So anyway following the baptisms, we went to breakfast, before leaving I had to go to the restroom. After I was finished using the facilities( Yes I had flushed) my phone began ringing. . I was receiving a call, so instead of waiting to take my call outside of the stall I attempted to get it out of my pocket, and you already guessed it, bloop... there is no longer a razor, but good news to this story, I got my mom's silver LG. More stories of my life. . . I began work today. I will be cleaning rooms at a motel. . Training was a bit rough. . . but I think I'll get the hang of it. Next Friday is also the young women's trip. we are going to go to the man -ti pageant, and we will also be enjoying our annual shopping spree! Also last week we had family up here to celebrate Katelyn's graduation. She had a GPA of 3.95. She is amazing and plans to go into elementary education. well that's it for now, I'm going to take my camera to the man- ti pageant so look for more posts soon!

HAPPENINGS LATELY

Needless to say it has been quite a while since I have blogged about 4 months to be exact. Not much interesting happened in my life since then. We started November off with a new puppy. a black lab and brown lab mix. Abby is only 5 months old. December went smoothly, but was hectic as it always has been around the holidays. I'm sure that my Mom thought that it was a lot more hectic than I did. Even through all this my family had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Currently in January I am full filling my "job" as a Manager for my school's wrestling team. We currently have 48 wrestlers. Our biggest team yet. Our season began with about a 25% win rate. Currently I am taking Psychology in school and am interested in learning more about the way others interact with people. This pretty much sums my life up for the months October- January. Hopefully I will become better about blogging and keep all of you up to date.
P.S. Sorry this is kind of a random Picture but one of my favorite that I found on the Internet.
