Well, sorry that I haven't posted lately. There's been a lot going on lately
1. 5 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL!!! I've totally run out of energy. I have 2 more tests and I'm done! YAY!
2. Today was graduation. Even though I wasn't graduating, it was so exciting yet sad to see everyone leave the building.
3. I'm going to color/cut my hair tonight. Although I can't decide how to cut it yet :(
4. I play the piano tomorrow in sacrament meeting, and I'm so nervous.
Other than these few things not much has been happening. My life isn't very interesting. lol
Sorry :)

Loving life!
Life has been so good lately. Sorry that I forget to keep people updated. I have quite a few things to mention in this post. Hope you enjoy
1. Yesterday in math I was kissed- by another girl!!!! It was probably the weirdest and most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me.
2. English is one of the best classes today. We had a substitute- She was kinda cranky, but what can you expect, she's been teaching freshman all day. I asked her what her name was and she asked me why. So I politely told her because I wanted to know and she again asks me why. So I respond- because you're my teacher(grinning) She then tells me that she is unaware of her name and would like to know mine. Boy teachers just make ya laugh :)
3. Seminary this year has been so great! I just love my teacher- he's so great and my class is really good too. I'm so thankful that we have seminary during school
4. Choir is been absolutely great these past few days. Our concert went very well- and I managed to not fall off of the risers this concert!
5. Today I took my map test on Southwest Asia.... That was one of the easiest tests I have ever EVER taken!! Also to go along with this there is a story. Mr. Loe's class is one of those classes that nobody will EVER cheat in because you will get caught! Today we had a substitute- who wasn't really watching us. This kid is cheating so terribly that the teacher has to be in her own world. He practically has his head UP the sleeve of his jacket. It was terrible cheating
6. There have been no more burning incidents- which makes me quite proud of myself :)
7. My life is almost drama free- and I found the key.... Stay away from those people who feel that they know everything or are looking for attention. It makes life 10 times easier!
8. I'm getting super excited for the trek.
9. This weekend should be great- I'm so excited to hang out with Dallas ;)
Well that's it :) Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :]

Round 2- here I come! :)
So tonight I decided to curl my hair. I'd rather be up late curling my hair than get up early in the morning. I got one whole side done and the thought came to my mind- you look really cute! :) So I continue curling my hair. After about 3 curls I pick up this stubborn piece of hair- it is always the same strand that will not curl. I pick it up, place the curling iron around it- and wham, drop the curling iron on my neck. It forms a blister and somehow pops. It hurt so bad, and still hurts at the present moment... I honestly can't wait for the dumb kid (whoever it may be this week) to ask me if the large burn on my neck is a hickey. The last time I had a burn, this kid and I were having a conversation about some girl he liked and out of the blue he says "EWWW! There's something on your head!" I just laughed and said "I dropped the curling iron- thanks for noticing :)" It'll happen, and I will not be at all surprised if it is the same kid. The first picture is of the very cute curls on the left half of my head. The second picture is when the burn started, the second one is a little way into it, and the last one is how it turned out. It's pretty big, the only thing I'm hoping is that it does not leave a scar, that would be very embarrassing. There is one other bad part about it-Leaving my hair down makes it burn (imagine that, a burn-burning) so i have to put my hair up :) At least I can still laugh at myself. :-P

Thanks for reading! :)

Good times!

Sorry to all of those who actually read this :) I've been busy with school lol. Not much has happened besides my Dad starting his new job and we started badminton in Lifetime Activities (which is insignificant but still sharing) Monica and I hang out about every Wednesday. This week we decided to finally take pictures. Yes there are weird. Incredibly weird- but it's why were friends lol. There are 2 of them where were proposing to each other. Random :) Hope you all enjoy

I look really angry in this one- but I'm not :)

The Joys of School

I'm beginning to dislike world geography more and more every day- and today just added to how much I hate this class. We were told at the beginning of the semester that we were to read a section ahead a night and take notes. I have always been very good about doing this.... EXCEPT this weekend!!! I didn't read it and figured that I would be OK.... well guess what! My teacher was apparently having a VERY terrible morning!!! He asked how many of us honestly read this section... GREAT JOB Krysten!!! Didn't see this one coming at ya huh! He then gave us 15 minutes to read this entire section which we would then be quizzed over. WOO HOO!!! I can't retain information- especially on a Monday morning at 8 am! I didn't know how to study this stuff! 15 minutes to know who paid for Columbus's voyage? Who overthrew some empire... I was so overwhelmed I wanted to cry, and of course I couldn't cry because it's Mr. Loe. He is the last person I would want to cry in front of. After 15 minutes of frantically reading this section praying that I could retain a little bit of information to be able to at least pass this class- he began giving questions. Who were 2 major kings who overthrew this empire? GREAT here we go!!! lets fail world geography. I then begin freaking out! That's putting it in a simple way! I started shaking and the kid behind me is humming. I can't concentrate when people are humming and tapping. Not kidding Our teacher is giving us about 10 seconds in between questions, and then you add my little freak out session and the nice kid behind me humming! WOO! I wanted to leave or something but I couldn't leave (another rule) After the quiz I was still having a little panic attack in my seat. I felt like everyone was staring at me. I don't ever want to deal with this again, too bad I will take another one tomorrow morning at 8 am!!!! At least I am prepared for this one. Let me just say this. Just when you think that you can get away with not doing an assignment, you're going to get busted!!! At this point I don't know what my grade is but I do know that tomorrow there is one LARGE lecture coming to first hour World Geography. Mr. Loe is a great teacher- don't get me wrong. But World Geography is possibly the worst hour of my morning, I have 1 friend in that class who is not much of a friend anymore. And then you add on top of all that, there is an incredibly annoying boy who sits behind me! Have you ever had to sit in front of those kids who rock your chair, or smack their gum in your ear, or hum? Ya, Those kids are my partners 99.999% of the time.
After this part of the day I was OK. I love my second and third hour. And fourth is really good on Mondays, because we go bowling! After this year there is OFFICIALLY no more PE classes and ABSOLUTELY NO WORLD GEOGRAPHY classes!!!!! WOOT WOO!!!! :)

Make A Wish Week!!

These next 2 weeks at school have been dedicated to help children who are sick with terminal diseases. Make a wish finds children who are ill with terminal diseases and find out what they would like to do before there time on this earth is over. Some wishes are very simple- wishes range from Kids who want a new car, a trip to Disney land, or even just more time with there family. This organization has granted so many wishes and being a part of it makes me smile just to know that I'm helping a child who doesn't know how much longer they will be here. Make a wish grants 173,810 wishes every 40 minutes. Student Council at the High School has planned SO many activities to help raise money for the child that was assigned to us this year. We have not found out who our Child is but I do know that it's going to be a good year! Today we had our kick off assembly and lunch dates were sold. People were auctioned off and the highest bidder gets to set a date up with that person and have lunch with them. One girl was "sold" for $300, and another boy was "sold" for $375. There is annoying music playing in the halls before and after school and in between passing periods until enough money is paid to shut them off. Tomorrow night there is a student vs. teacher basketball. There is a fashion show, A Mr. GR HS beauty pageant, A night at McDonald's where proceeds will go to Make a wish. Dodge ball tournament, Student and teacher torture, and class competitions. There is so much more going on. We are in a competition with Rock Springs to try and raise the most money. TODAY alone we raised $1375. I'm so happy to be a part of Student Council and to be able to be part of a school that is willing to help such a great organization! Our school is taking donations up to the 12th of February. Please come and participate in any of these activities- including the McDonald's Night. You're not only supporting a great organization but you're also Putting a smile of A child's face- lets all be part of granting this Child's wish and help them!

Happy Birthday to Kaycee!
Last night we celebrated Kaycee's birthday. She's officially 17! We had a small family party. For dinner she chose to have poppy seed chicken, potatoes, and green beans. Dinner was followed with dessert which consisted of brownies, ice cream, and hot fudge. YUM! The movie she chose for us as a family to watch was 10,000 B.C.
